Hydria BiO²X Water Recycling Systems

Our Hydria BiO²X water recycling systems with 100% water circulation recycle washing water, thereby reducing water and wastewater costs. These savings cover the cost of the recycling system and generate additional profits. Because we only use standardized parts, we are able to offer our water recycling systems at very affordable prices.
The robust and long-term proven system does not require a separator or a sewer connection.
Our recycling systems can be adapted to all structural requirements. This means that existing mud separators can be used, work pits can be repurposed, and narrow spaces can be used effectively.
Depending on the wash task, we can offer you systems customized to your individual needs. We can adapt our Hydria BiO²X water recycling systems with additional modules in terms of water volume, filter capacity, and pump performance.
All of the technology can be installed indoors in the wash hall area. For outdoor installation, frost-proof storage containers can be provided as technical rooms or constructed by the customer.
Above-ground installation makes maintenance easy and allows leaks to be detected and repaired immediately. The system is equipped with a double fine filter unit that can be cleaned individually even while the system is in operation. Oxygen injection prevents unpleasant odors.

How our systems work:

The wastewater from the washing process is collected in collection pits in the washing hall or in sump tray systems for mobile washing stations and transported to a mud separator. This can be installed underground as a conventional concrete basin or above ground as a plastic tank.
Sediments settle in the mud separator, while any floatable liquids rise to the surface. The water, which is now free of floatable liquids and low in sediment, is then transferred from the middle of the mud separator. An oil or coalescence separator is not required for the process.
Mechanical filtration using circulating filtration and biological purification through aeration ensure the required wash water quality.
The filtered, aerated, and treated wash water is now available again for the next wash cycle.
If there is a shortage of water in the system due to evaporation and carryover, fresh water is automatically added. Excess water produced by gantry car washes is discharged from the recovery system into the public sewer system. In other areas of application, such as manual washing with high-pressure cleaners, no excess water is produced, which means that no sewer connection is required.

Areas of application:
-Hand washing with high-pressure cleaners or washing brushes:
Cars, special vehicles, forklifts, industrial components, boats, construction vehicles, trucks, etc. can be cleaned by hand washing with a high-pressure cleaner or a washing brush using recycled water.

-Water recycling systems for car gantry car washes:
Any gantry car wash can be equipped with our water recycling system. Depending on the wash program, our system provides approximately 80-90% of the water required by a gantry car wash in the form of treated water. The final rinse cycle (drying aid and wax) always uses fresh water to compensate for water carryover losses and to achieve a consistently good washing result. The washing result is unchanged compared to pure fresh water operation. Any excess water that may accumulate can be discharged into the sewer system in washing water quality.

In addition to our standardized water recycling systems, we also offer customized solutions. Special versions of recycling systems have been developed, for example, for water-cooled cutting machines, industrial doormat washing machines, and helicopter washing for the German Armed Forces.
